And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dej Shaw!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Shaw.
Salvador misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Shaw darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Salvador pushes Shaw off looking to stand but Shaw dives back in and keeps control.
Shaw seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Salvador knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shaw on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvador is trying to stand up here but Shaw is controlling him well.

Salvador is looking to improve his position.

Shaw is working for a kimura but Salvador is defending it quite comfortably.
Salvador is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Well, if Shaw is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Salvador on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Salvador tries to get out of the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nice strikes from Shaw there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shaw content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Shaw winds up and cracks Salvador with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Shaw slows the pace down in half guard.
Shaw works his way into full mount!

Shaw tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Shaw is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Salvador is surviving well by controlling Shaw's body position as best he can.
Salvador could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Shaw sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Shaw postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Salvador out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Shaw goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
