The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Johnson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sharp regains guard immediately.
Sharp pushes Johnson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Sharp throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease.
Johnson dodges the punch combination from Sharp.
Sloppy strikes from Sharp. Those never looked like landing.
Johnson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Sharp sprawls and moves away.
Sharp moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnson cracks Sharp with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Johnson immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Sharp is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Johnson!
