These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong tries to score with a low kick but Emiliaanenko moves his leg out of the way.
Armstrong looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Armstrong is looking to clinch.
Emiliaanenko could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Some wild striking there from Emiliaanenko.
Blake Armstrong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Emiliaanenko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Armstrong looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Emiliaanenko cracks Armstrong with a big elbow.
Emiliaanenko scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Armstrong to see if he's OK.
It looks like Blake Armstrong has been cut.
Emiliaanenko lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Armstrong down.
That has opened up Blake Armstrong's cut even more.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Emiliaanenko works to advance to full mount. Armstrong defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Emiliaanenko lands a big shot there that rocks Armstrong but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Blake Armstrong's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
