Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jay Hakopa (ranked 9358 p4p, 170 weight class) and Francisco Javier Mallorga (ranked 23576 p4p, 186 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Francisco Javier Mallorga!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hakopa lands with an overhand left.
Hakopa has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Seppo's Massage Temple in the buildup to the fight.

Hakopa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mallorga moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hakopa misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mallorga is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Hakopa cracks Mallorga with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Mallorga is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Mallorga is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Mallorga could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Jay Hakopa!
