Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Ethan (ranked 3653 p4p, 418 weight class) and Steve Jobs (ranked 4546 p4p, 504 weight class). Jobs has chosen Aerosmith - Back in the Saddle Again as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Steve Jobs!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ethan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ethan tries to clinch but Jobs moves out of range.
Steve Jobs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jobs fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ethan on the side of the head.
Jobs misses with a two punch combination.
Ethan takes the fight into the clinch.
Jobs lands a body punch in the clinch.
Ethan lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jobs backwards.
Jobs lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ethan or not.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ethan.
Ethan stalling.
Ethan tries a body shot but Jobs blocks it.
Ethan lands a body punch.
Jobs lands an elbow just above Ethan 's eye.
Jobs misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Ethan misses with a short punch on the inside.
Jobs misses with a punch on the inside.
Ethan blocks an uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jobs lands a damaging elbow.
Jobs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jobs scores with a jab. Ethan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice defenses there by Ethan.
Ethan is looking to clinch.
Ethan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jobs is fending him off so far but Ethan persists. Nope, Jobs circles away and we're back to standing.
Jobs just misses with a punch to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jobs has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Ethan gets a takedown into half guard.
Jobs tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Ethan manages to move to mount!
Ethan lands a nice shot to the head.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Ethan lands a couple of good shots and Jobs has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Ethan has Jobs flattened out and is raining down punches.

Jobs is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Ethan throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Jobs!
Jobs is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Ethan off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Ethan has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Jobs! Can he survive? No! He's out! Ethan gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
