Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delinkage closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Delinkage sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Gilliam is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Gilliam tries to bench press Delinkage off him but Delinkage keeps the position.
Gilliam gets back to half guard.
Delinkage wants to work for an arm triangle but Gilliam is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Delinkage is taking a breather. Gilliam says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Delinkage shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gilliam manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
