Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Almir Ribeiro!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Ribeiro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jihad swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ribeiro throws a leg kick that misses.
Ribeiro scores with the left hand. Jihad knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Mustaf Jihad has been cut.
No joy there for Ribeiro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ribeiro throws a right hand that Jihad ducks under and follows up with a left that Jihad also avoids with ease.
Ribeiro throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ribeiro throws a sloppy head kick and Jihad moves out of range easily.
Almir Ribeiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ribeiro misses with a series of wild punches.
Ribeiro tries to clinch up.
Jihad shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jihad jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ribeiro manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Jihad has an Americana. Ribeiro didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Jihad is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Jihad hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
