Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arjen Van Slang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jamie Adams told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Arjen Van Slang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamie Adams!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Slang shoots in but no luck this time.
Van Slang shoots for a double leg takedown but Adams sprawls well. He's pushed Van Slang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Adams catches Van Slang napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Van Slang to the canvas!
Van Slang is rocked!
It looks like Arjen Van Slang has been cut.
Adams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Van Slang swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Oh Van Slang is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Adams cracks Van Slang with a solid left hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Adams lands a couple of elbows.
Van Slang seems to have got his legs back now.

Adams controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Van Slang looking for a guillotine here but Adams defends easily.

Van Slang has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Adams can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Adams is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Van Slang trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Adams is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Adams passes into half guard.

Van Slang tries to get to full guard but Adams has control of the leg.

Adams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Van Slang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nice strikes from Adams there.
Adams looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Van Slang is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Adams pulls his head out easily.
Adams passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Van Slang!

Adams postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Van Slang looks a forlorn figure.
Adams tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Adams landing punches.
Adams fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Adams takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Adams's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Van Slang tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jamie Adams just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Adams fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Adams connects with a nice cross there... Van Slang is looking wobbly and Adams recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Van Slang to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Adams jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
