Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leprechaun Davis (ranked 4997 p4p, 427 weight class) and Alexis Sanchez (ranked 9335 p4p, 570 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leprechaun Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexis Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Davis paws at him with a jab and circles away. Davis throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sanchez on the side of the head. Davis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Davis scores with a hook. Davis swats away the attempt to clinch by Sanchez. Sanchez does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sanchez is defended easily by Davis. We've been told by Davis's head coaches at Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis scores with a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis cracks Sanchez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Davis closes the distance and lands a one-two. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Davis. Sanchez walks into a jab. Sanchez misses with a body shot.
Sanchez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sanchez shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Davis lunges at Sanchez with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sanchez's hand. Davis lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sanchez at a distance.
Sanchez fails in his attempt to clinch. Sanchez throws a leg kick but Davis sees it coming and moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Davis moves out of range as Sanchez throws a body kick.
Davis lands a jab to the nose. Sanchez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Sanchez takes one to the chin there. Sanchez throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch but Davis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sanchez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Davis finds it's way round the side to connect with Sanchez's head. Sanchez shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Danga de danga de dang - Davis scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Alexis Sanchez has been cut. Davis works the jab nicely.
Sanchez is rocked! Davis drops Sanchez with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Sanchez! Davis dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leprechaun Davis! In defeat, Alexis Sanchez stepped up to the mic, saying 'I have only been training MMA for a few days- don't expect this to end my transition from Football superstar to MMA world champion!'.
