Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Muhammad Zaffran (ranked 8036 p4p, 726 weight class) and Titus Branch (ranked 6805 p4p, 678 weight class). Zaffran comes to the ring accompanied by Alesso - Years. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Muhammad Zaffran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Titus Branch!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaffran misses the shot to the body.
Zaffran misses with a takedown attempt - Branch sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Branch tries to counter by closing the distance.
Branch keeps the fight on the outside.
Zaffran fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Branch misses with a body kick.
Zaffran changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Branch tries to avoid it but Zaffran manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Branch to the ground. Branch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Muhammad Zaffran. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Branch lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Zaffran has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Zaffran and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Titus Branch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Branch throws a series of punches but Zaffran avoids them all with ease.

Branch digs a good hook to Zaffran's body.
Branch will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Branch looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Branch closes the distance and pushes Zaffran back into the ropes.

Branch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zaffran moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Zaffran looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Branch is fending him off so far but Zaffran persists. Nope, Branch circles away and we're back to standing.

Zaffran pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Branch defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Zaffran.
A right-left combo lands from Branch.
It looks like Muhammad Zaffran has been cut.

Branch misses with a few strikes there.
Branch throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Zaffran's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A lazy body kick from Branch
and Zaffran makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Branch throws a combination. Zaffran tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Zaffran is rocked!
Zaffran takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Branch fails with a takedown attempt.
Branch lands with a nice combination. Zaffran backs away looking to recover.
Oh Zaffran is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Branch steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zaffran.
Branch tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Zaffran seems to have got his legs back now.
Zaffran ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Branch moves away.
Branch looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Zaffran has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the ropes to get back to his feet. Branch has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the ropes.
Zaffran lands with a left to the head.
Zaffran is trying to drag Branch to the mat but Branch just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Zaffran is working for takedown but Branch is calmly controlling the position for now.

Zaffran misses with a punch to the body.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Zaffran just misses with a elbow thrown towards Branch's brow.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Zaffran using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Branch has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Branch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zaffran takes a shot right to the bread basket.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Branch misses with a head kick.
Branch avoids the body shot from Zaffran.

Oooooh!!! Branch has knocked Zaffran down with a huge combo! Branch steps away and waves a wobbly Zaffran back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Branch tries to bum rush Zaffran with a series of wild strikes but Zaffran uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Zaffran was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Branch shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zaffran's guard.
Zaffran is scooting his butt against the ropes and has managed to get back to his feet. Branch presses him back against the ropes, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Zaffran is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Zaffran wants to clinch up but Branch keeps it at a distance.
Branch misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Branch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Zaffran looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Titus Branch seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Branch shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Branch showed some decent athleticism there.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Branch is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Zaffran doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Branch.

Let's hope that Branch has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Zaffran throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Branch tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Zaffran is in Branch's guard.
Titus Branch is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
