Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Davis (ranked 606 p4p, 90 weight class) and Erland Eliasson (ranked 818 p4p, 125 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Davis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to In to Deep. Eliasson has chosen Radioactive - Imagine Dragons as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hector Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erland Eliasson! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eliasson misses with a jab to the body
and Davis counters with a takedown into side control. Eliasson struggling a bit here. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Davis has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Davis is working Eliasson over with some ground and pound from side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis controlling from side mount. Davis tries to advance to mount but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Eliasson's face as Davis controls the position. Eliasson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Davis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Davis working away. Davis tries to advance to mount but can't. Davis wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Eliasson, who protects the arm well. Davis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Eliasson keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Davis moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Davis trying to control the action but Eliasson is working from the bottom. Davis creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Eliasson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Davis trying to control the action but Eliasson is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis's jab looks to have found its range, popping Eliasson under the eye. Davis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Eliasson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Eliasson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Davis puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Eliasson works his way to full guard. Good work. Davis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. This is a sustained period of stalling by Davis. Eliasson looking to control.

Davis wants to pass to mount but Eliasson is defending the position. Davis scoring with strikes to the body and head. Still in half guard, Davis seems content to control. Davis is trying to control. Eliasson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Eliasson is trying to control but can't.
Davis keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Eliasson trying to hold on to Davis's head to control him but Davis postures up.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Davis with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hector Davis dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Eliasson throws a poor cross that misses
and Davis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Davis. Davis misses with a short punch on the inside. Eliasson throws a punch but it's blocked by Davis. Davis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Eliasson walks away with a smile on his face. Davis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Davis is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Eliasson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Davis feinted with a counter takedown. Eliasson tries to bum rush Davis with a series of wild strikes but Davis uses good footwork to avoid the assault. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eliasson looks to throw the jab but Davis is out of range. Eliasson misses with a looping left. Eliasson swings for the body but Davis moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Eliasson quickly recovers to half guard. Eliasson is staying active underneath Davis, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Davis is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Eliasson can do to turn this around? Davis sitting and controlling from the half guard. Davis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Eliasson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Davis. Eliasson tries to get to full guard but Davis has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis content to control rather than advance. Davis is nestled in close to Eliasson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Eliasson is in trouble now - Davis has advanced to mount! Davis misses with a head shot. Eliasson is squirming around, avoiding Davis's attempts to control the action. Davis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Davis goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Eliasson is on top in guard.

Eliasson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hector Davis dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Davis tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Eliasson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Nice jab there from Eliasson.
It looks like Hector Davis has been cut. Davis fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Good shot there by Davis. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eliasson misses with an uppercut. Davis saw that one coming. Davis wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Eliasson throws out a loose jab but Davis uses good head movement to avoid it. Davis moves out of range as Eliasson strikes. As Eliasson tries to get set, Davis tries to push him back and clinch up but Eliasson manages to avoid the attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eliasson misses with a wild body shot. A punch combination from Eliasson misses. Davis avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Eliasson misses with a looping right. Davis appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Davis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Eliasson's waist but Eliasson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davis off to one side. Eliasson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Davis sees it coming and avoids it easily. Davis seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Davis misses with a body shot
and Eliasson counters with a stiff right hand. Davis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Eliasson cracks Davis with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Hector Davis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eliasson lands the left hand. Davis looks to clinch and Eliasson counters with a stiff right hand.
Davis is rocked! Eliasson knocks out Davis with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Eliasson before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Eliasson picks up the big W with a huge KO!
