0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adrianov Gorlan! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gorlan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bass wants to get back to his feet but Gorlan passes into half guard.
Gorlan is trying to control. Bass wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Gorlan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gorlan is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bass is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
