Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jean Howell (ranked 6219 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Park (ranked 5999 p4p, 0 weight class). Park has chosen Deadline as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jean Howell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Park! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Park misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Park tries to clinch there but Howell circles away.
Park scores with a head kick. Howell tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Jean Howell has been cut. Park swinging wildly here.
A head kick from Howell lands but Park takes it in his stride. Park throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Howell holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Park pulls guard successfully.
Howell is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Howell is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Howell's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Howell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Howell postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Howell controls from within his opponent's guard. Howell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Howell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Park works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Howell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Park is looking to stand up but Howell isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Park doesn't manage to clinch there - Howell circles away.
A nice inside leg kick there by Howell. That's going to slow Park down. Park misses with a two punch combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Park fails to land with a series of punches.
No joy there for Park, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Park throws a head kick that misses and Howell counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Howell jumps into guard, dragging Park to the mat.
Howell is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Park has his hands clasped together but Howell extends and breaks Park's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Howell.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jean Howell! Jason Park was interviewed post fight and said 'This is just the beginning. I will come back to destroy my opponent.'.
