Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sandro Franco (ranked 22632 p4p, 357 weight class) and Iron Sleeper (ranked 7045 p4p, 282 weight class). Iron Sleeper struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sandro Franco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Iron Sleeper! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franco has closed the distance and engaged Sleeper in a clinch.
Franco misses with a hook from the clinch. Franco is working Sleeper over against the cage. Sleeper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Sleeper is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Franco drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sleeper gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Sleeper is looking to take this one to the mat. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Franco creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Our sources have told us that Franco has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Franco stalling.
Nice elbow from Franco. Sleeper takes an elbow to the temple. Franco makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Sleeper is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Franco gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Sandro Franco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iron Sleeper. Sleeper's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
That's one minute gone in the round. Franco lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sleeper backwards. Franco has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sleeper is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Franco works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Franco with a flurry of punches that miss. Franco postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Franco is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
It looks like Iron Sleeper has been cut. Franco throws a big right hand that misses. Sleeper has momentary wrist control but Franco slips an elbow through the middle. Franco pushes down on Sleeper's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sleeper is trying to maintain the position but Franco is very close to passing his half guard. Franco slows the pace down in half guard. Sleeper taking some punishment here, with Franco in his half guard. Sleeper told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Franco sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sleeper defending well though. Franco looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Franco working the head and body with strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Franco moves nicely into side control. Franco tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Franco has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Franco working the ground and pound. Sleeper is trying to control Franco's posture but Franco avoids it. Franco in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Sleeper is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
