The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been informed that Da Silva has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Da Silva throws a leg kick but Dutroux sees it coming and moves out of range.

Da Silva stuns Dutroux with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Dutroux takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Da Silva misses the jab.
Dutroux takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Da Silva bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Da Silva lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Da Silva is looking to slow Dutroux down with leg kicks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Da Silva! Dutroux is out on his feet! Da Silva rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Dutroux is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Dutroux is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
