Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Snow!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Snow drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ground and pound from Snow seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Snow throws a strike aimed at the side of Kromog's head but Kromog avoids it well.
Snow creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kromog sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Snow is looking to take a break and control but Kromog is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Snow working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Kromog is looking to reverse the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kromog parries the strikes from Snow easily there. Snow is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kromog to escape.
Kromog dodges the ground and pound from Snow.
Kromog is letting Snow control him for a moment.
Snow creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kromog sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Snow misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Kromog prevents Snow from improving position.
Snow misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Snow is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kromog knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Snow is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kromog can't stay in a position like this for much longer.


It looks like Von Kromog has been cut.

Kromog knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Snow on the ground.
Snow wants to control but Kromog is keeping him busy.

Kromog is in trouble now - Snow has advanced to mount!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
