The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teppo lands with a straight right. Gracie didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Aaron Gracie has been cut.
Gracie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Gracie goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Teppo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gracie but great work by Teppo.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Teppo works over Gracie's head and body with a nice combination.
Teppo throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease.
Teppo cracks Gracie with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Gracie is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Teppo.
Teppo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Teppo's waist but Teppo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.

Teppo gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Teppo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Gracie backwards.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Teppo.

Teppo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Gracie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Teppo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Teppo is working Gracie over against the ropes.

Teppo's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Teppo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Teppo is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Teppo circles away and we're back to standing.

Gracie takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The cut above Aaron Gracie's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Gracie takes one to the side of the head.
Teppo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gracie in his tracks.
Teppo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Aaron Gracie's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Teppo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
