Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Thorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sally Godsmack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorn's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, AC/DC - TNT. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godsmack shoots in but no luck this time.
Godsmack tries for a takedown but Thorn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Thorn stuffs the takedown attempt from Godsmack. Godsmack gets slowly back to his feet.
Mike Thorn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sally Godsmack.
Godsmack shoots in for a double leg but Thorn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Godsmack doesn't manage to clinch there - Thorn circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Godsmack shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thorn pinned against the cage. Thorn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Godsmack misses with a takedown attempt - Thorn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Godsmack tries to clinch up.
Thorn waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Godsmack.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Godsmack fails with the takedown.

Godsmack is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Thorn.
Godsmack shoots in but Thorn avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Godsmack slips a straight right by Thorn.
Godsmack avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Thorn stuffs the takedown.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Thorn misses with a wild combination.
Godsmack tries to close the distance and clinch but Thorn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Godsmack ducks under a wild hook from Thorn.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Thorn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Thorn dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Thorn throws a hook to the side of Godsmack's head but Godsmack sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Godsmack fails with a takedown attempt.

Godsmack is breathing heavily.
Godsmack pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Godsmack changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thorn tries to avoid it but Godsmack manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thorn to the ground. Thorn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Thorn rushes Godsmack and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Godsmack tries to land knees in the clinch but Thorn avoids the damage to the body.
Thorn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Thorn throws a shot from downtown. Godsmack moves away and avoids it.
Godsmack tries to clinch
and Thorn counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Godsmack!
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Godsmack is in trouble now - Thorn has advanced to mount!
Thorn sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Godsmack is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Thorn tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Mike Thorn just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Godsmack darts in trying to clinch
and Thorn counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Thorn waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Godsmack.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Thorn dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Sally Godsmack's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Godsmack doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Godsmack takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mike Thorn is winning the standup battle so far.
Godsmack darts in trying to clinch
and Thorn counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Godsmack falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mike Thorn!
