And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frau fails with the takedown
and Frau takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Frau looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Carnera is fending him off so far but Frau persists. Nope, Carnera circles away and we're back to standing.
Frau shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Carnera connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Frau. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carnera sends Frau crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Carnera is motioning to the referee to let Frau up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Frau is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Frau fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
and Carnera counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Frau! He's just covering up as Carnera starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Mauro Carnera was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
