The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rude cracks a nice hook into Ajax's ribs.
Ajax goes for a double leg but Rude avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rude continues to drive forward.
Ajax misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Rude counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
A bone on bone clash there as Rude blocks the leg kick.
Rude tries to counter by closing the distance.
Rude lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
