Chooooooooon! I think Siliva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sunshines BAR GRILL & LOUNGE PINNEYS BEACH . Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Siliva shoots in for a takedown but Garner shows good takedown defense.

Garner moves into the clinch successfully.

Siliva has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Garner wants to sweep here but Siliva controlling him for the moment.

Siliva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Siliva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Siliva is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Garner is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Garner has escaped and now he's on top!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Garner content to stall in guard here.
Siliva wants to sweep here but Garner controlling him for the moment.
My spies in Fight Factory inform me that Garner has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Garner wants to control from the top but Siliva keeps moving.

Siliva has his foot on Garner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Garner works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Siliva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Garner is posturing up here but Siliva has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Garner tries to roll out but it's too tight and Garner has to tap! Slick submission there by Siliva!
