Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Atilla Kronk (ranked 24285 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baghdad Bob (ranked 2925 p4p, 0 weight class). Baghdad Bob told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Atilla Kronk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Baghdad Bob! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kronk misses with a takedown attempt - Bob sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bob moves into the clinch. Bob swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Bob lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A head punch on the inside from Bob fails to land. Bob lands with a short shot to the head. A head punch blocked on the inside by Kronk. Bob lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kronk backwards. The referee is keeping an eye on Bob - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Bob lands a hook that snaps the head of Kronk backwards.
It looks like Atilla Kronk has been cut. Kronk tries to pull guard but Bob forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Bob misses with the head strike.

Kronk is rocked! Kronk wants a takedown but no success here.
Oh Kronk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Atilla Kronk. That's going to take a lot out of him. A short right from Bob on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob misses with a hook from the clinch. Bob lands with a short shot to the head. Kronk jumps guard but Bob turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Kronk looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kronk has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bob after a bit of a struggle. Kronk's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Kronk pulls guard effortlessly. Kronk throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kronk seems to have got his legs back now. Kronk is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bob prevents Kronk from getting back to his feet. Kronk scores with a short punch from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kronk is looking to stand up but Bob isn't so interested in that idea. Bob postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bob got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kronk has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bob has managed to get both his arms back between Kronk's legs - danger averted.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Baghdad Bob is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bob misses with a two punch combination.
Bob clinches with his opponent.
Bob lands with a left to the head. Bob lands with a left to the head. Kronk takes a shot to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bob lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A nice left hand lands by Bob.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bob unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Kronk! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Bob is unloading with more strikes now! Kronk drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Baghdad Bob! Baghdad Bob really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Vikai Gear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
