Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Gonawyn (ranked 5520 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Phillips (ranked 4408 p4p, 478 weight class). Mark Phillips told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, King Gonawyn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Phillips! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Phillips connects with the punch. Phillips looks to land a right hand but Gonawyn moved out of range. Phillips looks to land a right hand but Gonawyn moved out of range. Mark Phillips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Phillips jabbing away but nothing is landing. Phillips looks to land a right hand but Gonawyn moved out of range. Gonawyn tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Phillips manages to circle out of the way. Gonawyn moves away from the strike by Phillips. As Phillips tries to get set, Gonawyn tries to push him back and clinch up but Phillips manages to avoid the attempt. Phillips looks to land a right hand but Gonawyn moved out of range. Gonawyn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Phillips throws a lazy uppercut
and Gonawyn counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gonawyn. Phillips is looking to stand up but Gonawyn isn't so interested in that idea. Gonawyn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gonawyn pushes down on Phillips's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gonawyn stops Phillips from getting back to his feet.
Gonawyn scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Phillips is trying to stand up here but Gonawyn is controlling him well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Phillips can do anything to dispel that myth. Phillips tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Gonawyn manages to move to mount!
Gonawyn looking to finish Phillips with some ground and pound. This is bad for Phillips! Phillips wants to get back to his feet.
Phillips has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Gonawyn lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Phillips is bucking up trying to escape but Gonawyn cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
It looks like Mark Phillips has been cut. Phillips looks winded! Gonawyn is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Phillips is forced to tap! Great finish!
