Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ham Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raymond Holt!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holt feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kims jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!


It looks like Ham Kim has been cut.
Holt connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Kim closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Holt to the mat! Holt manages to get full guard.
Holt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kim throws a big elbow that misses.
Kim in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kim loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kim accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kim slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Kim landing with the ground and pound.
Kim makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Holt wants to stand but Kim is controlling the position.
Kim with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kim works over Holt with some ground and pound from guard.
Kim chips away with some ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kim is working Holt over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Kim postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kim loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Holt wants to stand and escape but Kim is having none of it.
Kim is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Kim throwing strikes from guard but Holt blocks nicely.

Kim lands a couple of digs.
Kim makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.


Holt is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kim loads up on a big left hand. Holt felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kim looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Holt can't hide his disappointment, as Kim celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ham Kim!
A relieved looking Ham Kim thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
