1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcelo Rios! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A bone on bone clash there as Bridges blocks the leg kick.
Rios throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bridges tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rios is in Bridges's guard. Bridges pushes Rios off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Rios shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bridges is trying to defend but Rios finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Bridges wants to get back to his feet.
Bridges is holding on to half guard well. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bridges wants to get back to his feet. Rios scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Bridges works his way to full guard. Good work. Bridges trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Bridges keeping full guard, as Rios tries to pass. Bridges throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Bridges has Rios pulled in close to control his posture. Bridges can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rios controls the pace. Bridges wants to stand but Rios is controlling the position. Bridges is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bridges buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rios closes the distance and clinches. Bridges is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rios is defending well. Bridges really is a fat lump. Rios escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bridges keeping moving, preventing Rios from controlling successfully. Rios pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bridges is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bridges holds on and takes a little breather. Bridges striking off his back but it's not causing Rios any problems. Bridges controls Rios momentarily but Rios frees himself. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rios accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rios avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rios will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rios pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Rios gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bridges jumps guard but Rios turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Rios prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elvis Bridges. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rios pulls guard successfully.
Rios pushes a forearm under Bridges's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bridges is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
