Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Murphy (ranked 4325 p4p, 479 weight class) and Craig Patton (ranked 4357 p4p, 481 weight class). Patton is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Heart of a Champion - Nelly. Craig Patton told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy lands with a shot to the body.
Murphy stuffs the takedown.
Some wild striking there from Patton.
Murphy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Murphy throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Craig Patton has been cut.
Murphy lands a big head kick that sends Patton tumbling to the mat! Murphy takes a step backwards and waves Patton back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Patton is rocked!

A head kick by Murphy - that's a beauty! Patton is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Murphy can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Tobias Murphy!
Tobias Murphy seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
