Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between El Murid (ranked 6048 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Andrade (ranked 4418 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrade has chosen MC Melqui e MC Kekel - Piranha as his entrance music. Marcelo Andrade is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, El Murid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcelo Andrade! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andrade misses with a series of wild punches.
Andrade fails to land with a series of punches.
Andrade lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like El Murid has been cut. Andrade misses with the combination.
Andrade slaps away a takedown attempt from Murid, before circling back to the center of the mat. Murid closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Murid slows the pace down in half guard. Murid seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Andrade for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murid looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Murid trying to control the pace. Murid throwing shots but Andrade is blocking nicely. Murid sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Murid missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Murid controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Murid is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Murid is controlling the pace.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Murid looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A combination from Andrade does no damage. Murid went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Murid closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murid continues to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Andrade looks like he's trying to stand up.
Murid is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Andrade is just riding it out for now. Murid eventually gives up the hold. Murid stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Marcelo Andrade will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on El Murid's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Andrade stuffs the takedown. Marcelo Andrade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Andrade, as that shot connected.
Murid takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Andrade! Murid is backing up but he can't get away as Andrade lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Murid and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Marcelo Andrade! After the fight, Marcelo Andrade was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
