Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seung-Jin Bailey (ranked 473 p4p, 71 weight class) and Bryer McGuire (ranked 118 p4p, 16 weight class). Bailey's entrance music is Zombie Juice - Lava. A fine choice. McGuire is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Nothing More - Go To War. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bryer McGuire was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bailey scores with a jab to the body.
Bailey connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between McGuire's hands.
It looks like Bryer McGuire has been cut.
Bailey paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
McGuire moves in looking to clinch but Bailey pushes him off.

and Bailey makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
We've been informed that McGuire has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bryer McGuire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGuire has closed the distance and engaged Bailey in a clinch.

McGuire's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That was a close round but I would say that Seung-Jin Bailey will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from McGuire in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

and McGuire counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McGuire feints a jab and as Bailey dips his head, McGuire unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Bailey right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Bailey falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! McGuire smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bryer McGuire! Bryer McGuire retains his light heavyweight title!
