Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buck Steed (ranked 3129 p4p, 340 weight class) and Marv Ellis (ranked 3468 p4p, 374 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marv Ellis!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellis fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Steed shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Ellis takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Steed uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ellis.

We've been told by Steed's head coaches at Valhalla Iron Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Steed lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ellis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ellis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A little feinted left hand from Steed on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
That kick from Ellis tenderised Steed's leg. Steed is trying to keep his angry face on.

Ellis gets control of Steed's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ellis will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Ellis is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Ellis lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Steed backwards.

Ellis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Steed walks away with a smile on his face. Ellis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Steed throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Well Ellis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
