Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mckinley Osborn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Tyson! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Osborn fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tyson, pushing him back against the cage. Tyson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Osborn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tyson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Osborn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tyson misses with a combination
and Osborn counters with a three punch combo that has Tyson backing up. Tyson nods at Osborn to acknowledge the strikes. Tyson fails to land with a series of punches.
Osborn could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Osborn throws a right hand that Tyson ducks under and follows up with a left that Tyson also avoids with ease. As Osborn backs off Tyson throws a huge counter combo but Osborn manages to avoid it all. Osborn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tyson. Tyson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tyson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mike Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tyson gets tackled into the cage by Osborn. Osborn maintains the clinch. Osborn changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tyson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Tyson misses with an uppercut. Osborn tries to clinch but Tyson moves out of range. Tyson tries to keep at a distance but Osborn has taken the fight into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Osborn is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Tyson is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mckinley Osborn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Osborn misses with a hook to the ribs.
Tyson gets underhooks to prevent Osborn's takedown attempt.
Osborn wants a takedown.
Osborn drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tyson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Tyson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Osborn.
Osborn breaks from the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tyson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Tyson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Osborn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tyson won't be happy with that. Osborn in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Tyson is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
