4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miguel Santiago! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santiago throws a series of punches but St James moves out of range. St James circles away from the clinch attempt.
Santiago throws the left hand but St James avoids the punch easily. Miguel Santiago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. St James connects with a right hand. Santiago shakes it off. Santiago misses with the combination.
Santiago swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Santiago throws a jab but it's blocked by St James. Santiago cracks St James with an open hand slap. Santiago keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Santiago uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before St James has time to react. A punch combination from Santiago misses. St James avoids a punch combination nicely.

Santiago avoiding damage under a succession of punches from St James. Santiago is trying to get back to full guard. St James is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Santiago is just riding it out for now. St James eventually gives up the hold.
