The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man moves into the clinch.

Lara wants the takedown. Man is fighting it off but Lara persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Man's guard against the cage.

Man is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lara defends well.

Lara pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Man is keeping the position for now.

Man escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lara gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lara not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Lara might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Lara with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Man looking to control.
Lara could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lara throws a big elbow that misses.
Lara controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Man is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lara is controlling him.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Lara closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Man did well to prevent Lara getting side control.
Man tries to kick Lara off in order to stand up. Lara Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Lara is trying to get an arm triangle but Man is defending well.

Man wants to control but Lara postures up.
Man is trying to escape the position but Lara is controlling the position.

Man is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Lara is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Lara seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Lara's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Still in half guard, Lara seems content to control.

Lara maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Man could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Lara has cracked it and Man is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Lara!
