And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Thunder scores with a shot to the body.
Thunder keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Markov.
Thunder swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Nice jab there from Markov.
Thunder throws a body shot but no joy.
Markov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Thunder throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Markov throws a lazy right hand but Thunder sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Thunder throws a body punch but Markov moves out of range.
Thunder throws a lazy uppercut
and Thunder takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Thunder keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thunder now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Markov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Thunder lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed right hand from Markov misses the target.
Thunder doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Markov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thunder.
Thunder feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Markov's calf.
Thunder connects with a body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Markov checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Markov throws a lazy right hand but Thunder sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Thunder lands a big head kick that sends Markov tumbling to the mat! Thunder takes a step backwards and waves Markov back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Alexey Markov has been cut.
Markov throws a hook but Thunder blocks it.
Thunder misses with a straight right.
Thunder thuds a left hand into Markov's body.
Markov looks to land a right hand but Thunder moved out of range.
Markov is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Thunder lands with a slapping head kick.

Thunder jabs at Markov's body.
Thunder drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Markov right on the button. Markov goes down! Thunder follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Thunder gets the win via TKO!
