Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berne is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Azaryan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Berne darts in trying to clinch
and Azaryan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Berne misses with a combination
and Azaryan counters with a nice uppercut.
Berne wants to clinch
and Azaryan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Berne moves to clinch but Azaryan breaks away
and Azaryan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Azaryan lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Azaryan circles away from the clinch attempt
and Azaryan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Berne tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Azaryan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Berne takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Azaryan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Berne looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A nice leg kick lands there from Azaryan.
Berne closes the distance and clinches.
Azaryan dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Azaryan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Berne tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Azaryan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Azaryan moves into range and connects with a jab.

and Azaryan counters with a nice uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Berne takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Berne drives through and clinches with Azaryan against the cage.
Azaryan gets through Berne's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Berne wanted to stand there but Azaryan had control of the position.
Azaryan looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Berne trying to control the position from guard on top but Azaryan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Azaryan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Berne defends well.
Azaryan has his foot on Berne's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Berne works his way back into a safe position though.
Berne wants to control from the top but Azaryan keeps moving.
Berne content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Azaryan has locked up a guillotine! Azaryan's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Berne is holding on here and Azaryan must be using up a lot of energy. Berne has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Azaryan gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
