Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alan Hansen (ranked 3713 p4p, 402 weight class) and Manolito Patadas (ranked 5117 p4p, 524 weight class). Hansen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Follow the Leader - by-KORN. Manolito Patadas is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alan Hansen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Manolito Patadas! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patadas throws an overhand right that lands on Hansen's shoulder, as Hansen tries to avoid the shot. Hansen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Patadas.
Patadas takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Patadas darts in and clinches Hansen up against the cage. A short right from Hansen. Hansen is stalling here.
Patadas lands an elbow inside that Hansen shrugs off. Hansen blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Still in the clinch, Hansen scores with a nice short uppercut. Patadas tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hansen avoids it. Hansen pushes Patadas back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Patadas tries to throw a body punch but Hansen avoids it by throwing Patadas back against the cage. Hansen is leaning against Patadas and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Patadas pushes off an throws an elbow but Hansen leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Hansen manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Patadas can't find room to land a body shot as Hansen controls the action.

That's one minute gone in the round. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hansen takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Hansen stalling against the cage.

Patadas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hansen makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Patadas misses with the head strike.
Patadas putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Hansen in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hansen. Patadas landing knees to the head.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hansen. Patadas looks winded! Patadas's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Hansen lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Patadas or not. Patadas working aggressively here.

They are putting on a show! Patadas using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hansen has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Patadas told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Hansen lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Hansen stalling the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hansen scores with an uppercut up the middle. Hansen presses Patadas against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Hansen stalling in the clinch.
Hansen avoids a wild elbow strike from Patadas. Hansen's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Hansen blocks the elbow strike.

Hansen lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A left hand lands to the body for Hansen.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Alan Hansen. Hansen connects with a body shot that sends Patadas's belly button to the back. Patadas looks up at the clock. Bad move! Hansen lands a right hand from hell, dropping Patadas. Hansen pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
