Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Alvarez (ranked 1770 p4p, 230 weight class) and Pierre St George (ranked 2001 p4p, 258 weight class). Alvarez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eminem–Phenomenal. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St George misses with the combination.
Alvarez fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but St George is out of range.
Alvarez finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Alvarez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but St George moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A countering left hand to the body from St George misses.
Alvarez throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and St George counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Alvarez dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on St George. That did some damage!
