Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Snowdon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Hunter! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snowdon drives through with a takedown into Hunter's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Snowdon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Snowdon stands and throws Hunter's legs to the side, diving into side control. Snowdon advances to mount. Hunter has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Snowdon is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hunter is defending well though. Snowdon let's go of the attempt for now. Hunter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Snowdon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Snowdon working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hunter is in bad spot here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Snowdon sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Hunter taps out!
