Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike lawrence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
lawrence kicks Bailey off and gets back to his feet.
Bailey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
lawrence tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Bailey presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Bailey has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of lawrence's face.

Bailey goes for a takedown attempt but lawrence pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bailey throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

lawrence has Bailey pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bailey manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Bailey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and lawrence connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bailey passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Bailey remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bailey wants to lay and pray for a moment but lawrence keeps working.
Bailey cracks lawrence with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Bailey decides to stand up, so the ref orders lawrence to his feet.
lawrence closes the distance and clinches up with Bailey, looking for a takedown. lawrence pushes Bailey against the cage but Bailey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bailey shoots for a double leg takedown but lawrence sprawls well. He's pushed Bailey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bailey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
lawrence stuffs the takedown attempt from Bailey. Bailey gets slowly back to his feet.

Bailey prevents lawrence from improving his position.
Randy Bailey has got the better of the ground game so far.
lawrence has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bailey is working away from the top position though.

Bailey has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for lawrence!

lawrence knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bailey on the ground.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Randy Bailey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! lawrence's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

and Bailey counters with a takedown into side control.

Bailey is working to tighten is grip on lawrence's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. lawrence has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bailey is really squeezing tight and eventually lawrence passes out! Bailey breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
