Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Silva (ranked 2147 p4p, 221 weight class) and Mario Eikmeyer (ranked 2775 p4p, 284 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Architects-Doomsday. On his way into the cage it seems that Richard Silva has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Richard Silva seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eikmeyer shoots in and bounces Silva off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Eikmeyer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Eikmeyer lands a couple of elbows.
Eikmeyer postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Silva is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Eikmeyer, into his guard.

Silva is sitting in close to Eikmeyer's body. Eikmeyer has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Silva is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Silva is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Eikmeyer.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mario Eikmeyer!
After the fight, Mario Eikmeyer was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
