Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Quick (ranked 5234 p4p, 566 weight class) and Herbal The Leaf (ranked 6985 p4p, 680 weight class). Herbal The Leaf told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Herbal The Leaf!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Leaf throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The Leaf fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Quick avoids it really well and circles away.
The Leaf decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The Leaf scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The Leaf is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Quick sees it coming and defends easily.
The Leaf looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The Leaf is working for a submission of some sort.
The Leaf should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Leaf is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Quick has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

The Leaf in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Quick tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from The Leaf!
