Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Sins (ranked 21113 p4p, 783 weight class) and Tsuyoshi Tamatso (ranked 2456 p4p, 303 weight class). Tamatso has chosen The Storm by Bill Conti as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Sins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tsuyoshi Tamatso! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sins misses with a head kick.
Tamatso shoots in and gets a takedown into Sins's guard. Sins looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tamatso looking to pass the guard. Sins has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Sins controls Tamatso momentarily but Tamatso frees himself. Sins is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Tamatso trying to control but Sins is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sins is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Tamatso connects with a couple of short punches. Sins has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Tamatso scoring with punches to the head and body. Sins preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sins keeping moving, preventing Tamatso from controlling successfully. Tamatso prevents Sins from getting back to his feet. Tamatso stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tamatso fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sins to the ground. Tamatso is now in Sins's guard. Tamatso throwing strikes from guard but Sins blocks nicely. Tamatso trying to control but Sins is working from the bottom. Tamatso won't allow Sins to get back to his feet. Tamatso pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sins is keeping the position for now. Tamatso lands a couple of elbows. Sins avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Tamatso trying to control but Sins is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sins is trying to keep Tamatso in close.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Tamatso pushes down on Sins's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sins tries to get to full guard but Tamatso has control of the leg. Tamatso seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Sins is looking to escape. Sins has hold of Tamatso's hands but Tamatso slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Tamatso trying to control the pace. Sins is defending against the submission attempts here by Tamatso.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sins has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Tamatso is on him like a limpet, forcing Sins back against the ropes. Sins lands with a short head shot on the inside. Tamatso drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sins pulls his leg out and moves away.
Tamatso fails to land the takedown. Tamatso fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nick Sins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tsuyoshi Tamatso. Sins misses with an uppercut. Sins scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. No luck for Tamatso with that takedown attempt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tamatso closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tsuyoshi Tamatso will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Tamatso shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tamatso was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sins is trying to control Tamatso's posture but Tamatso avoids it. Tamatso tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Sins is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Tamatso wants to control for a moment but Sins uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sins is looking to escape. Sins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tamatso on the ground. Sins keeping hold of Tamatso's head, controlling as best he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sins wants to control but Tamatso is keeping busy and won't allow it. Tamatso looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tamatso stops Sins from getting back to his feet.
Tamatso slows the pace down in half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Sins manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Tamatso postures up in Sins's guard and throws a big left but Sins blocks it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tamatso accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sins wants to stand up but Tamatso is controlling him. Sins is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tamatso is working Sins over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Tamatso is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tamatso's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Tamatso has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Tamatso is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. That's three minutes gone in the round. Sins pushes Tamatso off but Tamatso dives into side control.
Tamatso trying to control the action but Sins is working from the bottom. Sins gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Tamatso prevents Sins from getting the reversal. Sins is squirming around, avoiding Tamatso's attempts to control the action. Sins takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Sins is rocked! Tamatso postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Sins out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Tamatso goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
