Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Crack Head (ranked 5484 p4p, 527 weight class) and Bright Heather (ranked 9231 p4p, 650 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crack Head!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bright Heather !
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heather tries for a takedown but Head sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Head wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Heather shoots in for a double leg but Head sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Heather is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Heather will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Crack Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bright Heather .
Heather looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Head is fending him off so far but Heather persists. Nope, Head circles away and we're back to standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heather misses with a kick to the body.

Head is looking for a counter combo.

Head bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Heather is trying to control Head's posture but Head avoids it.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Head has hold of Heather 's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Heather tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Head cranks the arm and Heather screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Heather , who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Crack Head!
A relieved looking Crack Head thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
