Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Vercetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vercetti had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Archer is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Vercetti Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Archer's back instead.

Vercetti escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Archer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Vercetti isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Archer stacks Vercetti on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Archer!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Let's hope that Archer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Ace Archer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Vercetti wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

Ace Archer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Archer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
