Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Vercetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Vercetti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ace Archer! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Archer instigates a clinch. Archer with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Archer lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Nice elbow from Archer. Archer gets through Vercetti's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Archer lands a nice uppercut. Archer just leaning against Vercetti, taking a breather. A nice right hand lands inside from Archer. Archer lands an uppercut. Nice elbow from Archer.
It looks like Thomas Vercetti has been cut. Archer lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Vercetti takes an elbow to the temple. A short uppercut from Archer. Archer creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Vercetti's defenses. Archer lands an elbow inside.
Thomas Vercetti's cut is getting worse. Archer lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Vercetti is rocked! Vercetti wants a takedown but no success here.
Vercetti is breathing heavily. Archer decides to pull guard. Archer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Vercetti is pushing down on Archer's leg trying to pass to half guard. Archer is fighting to maintain full guard but Vercetti has managed to sneak the leg through.

Vercetti seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Archer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Archer wants to get back to his feet. Vercetti is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Archer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vercetti. Vercetti thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Archer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Archer lands a nice elbow. Archer on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Archer lands an elbow inside. Vercetti fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Archer lands an elbow inside that Vercetti shrugs off. Archer gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Vercetti has his foot on Archer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Archer works his way back into a safe position though. Vercetti throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Archer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vercetti has a closed guard, preventing Archer from standing up. Vercetti looking for a guillotine here but Archer defends easily.
Archer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Archer gets to his feet - Vercetti follows without any prompting. Vercetti fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Vercetti. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Archer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Archer takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Vercetti wants to get back to full guard. Archer wants to stand up but Vercetti has a hold of him and won't allow it. Vercetti is trying to get back to full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Archer blocks the strikes from Vercetti.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ace Archer dominated that round. The cut man is working on Thomas Vercetti's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Vercetti keeps the fight on the outside. Archer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vercetti swats him away and circles back towards the center. Vercetti misses with a takedown attempt and Archer moves into the clinch. Archer gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. The is referee keeping an eye on Archer - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Vercetti tries to land knees in the clinch but Archer avoids the damage to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Archer lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Archer lands a shoulder strike. A knee to the head by Archer.
Archer lands a nice elbow. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Archer lands an elbow just above Vercetti 's eye. Archer misses with a knee strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Archer creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Vercetti's defenses. Nice elbow from Archer. Vercetti is working for takedown but Archer is calmly controlling the position for now. Archer wants the takedown. Vercetti is fighting it off but Archer persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Vercetti's guard against the cage. Archer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Vercetti has a closed guard, preventing Archer from standing up. Archer controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Archer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Vercetti looking for a guillotine here but Archer defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Archer would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Vercetti has his foot on Archer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Archer works his way back into a safe position though. Vercetti is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Vercetti had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Archer is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Vercetti Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Archer's back instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vercetti working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Vercetti throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Archer is really stuck here.
Archer is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Archer defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Vercetti wants to control but Archer is keeping busy. Vercetti has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Archer has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Archer tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Vercetti unloads with some shots from mount but Archer bucks and avoids them well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Vercetti wants to take his opponent's back but Archer doesn't allow it. Vercetti tries to control but Archer wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ace Archer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Thomas Vercetti's cut. That's time! Vercetti's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Thomas Vercetti's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Ace Archer seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Archer lands an elbow that stopped Vercetti in his tracks for a moment. Archer lands a hook to the side of the head. Archer lands an elbow that stopped Vercetti in his tracks for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Archer unloads a knee to the mid-section. Vercetti lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Archer gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Knees in the clinch landing for Archer.
Vercetti takes an elbow to the temple. Archer lands a right hand that snaps the head of Vercetti backwards. Archer has hold of one of Vercetti's legs. Vercetti is fighting the takedown attempt but Archer gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Vercetti looking for a guillotine here but Archer defends easily.
Archer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Vercetti has his foot on Archer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Archer works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Archer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Vercetti working a defensive guard here.
Vercetti escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Archer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Vercetti isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Archer stacks Vercetti on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Archer! Vercetti is trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vercetti trying to remain calm as Archer controls from the top position. Vercetti tries to bench press Archer off him but Archer keeps the position. Archer controls the position from side control. Vercetti is trying to get back to half guard. Archer content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Let's hope that Archer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Thomas Vercetti has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ace Archer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Vercetti wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
And that's the end of the fight! Ace Archer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Archer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
