The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorbachenko darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Diggler thows a leg kick but Gorbachenko checks it
and Gorbachenko counters with a crisp right hand that drops Diggler! Gorbachenko lets Diggler back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Diggler is rocked!
It looks like Dirk Diggler has been cut.
Diggler has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Gorbachenko connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Diggler covering up! Gorbachenko comes in with a big uppercut and Diggler goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Anatoly Gorbachenko!
A very excited looking Anatoly Gorbachenko rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
