Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Ramano (ranked 3058 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederich Lawson (ranked 3121 p4p, 399 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ray Ramano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frederich Lawson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lawson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lawson wants to stand up but Ramano is controlling him. Ramano definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lawson can do anything to dispel that myth. Ramano landing with the ground and pound. Lawson is trying to keep Ramano in close.
Lawson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lawson wants to stand up but Ramano is controlling him. Ramano throwing strikes from guard but Lawson blocks nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ramano wants to control from the top but Lawson keeps moving. Ramano throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lawson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramano makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ramano throws a big elbow that misses. Ramano looking to pass the guard. Ramano is working hard here to advance position. Ramano postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ramano tries to free his leg and advance position but Lawson is retaining full guard. Lawson working a defensive guard here.
Ramano throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ramano throws a big elbow that misses. Ramano postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ramano trying to control the position from guard on top but Lawson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ramano is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lawson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Ramano working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramano throwing strikes but missing. Ramano won't allow Lawson to get back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Lawson instigates a clinch. Lawson manages to break the clinch.
Lawson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Ray Ramano has been cut. Ramano keeps the fight on the outside. Ramano tries to counter with a takedown but Lawson is quick to defend against it. Lawson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lawson lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Ramano can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Lawson and Ramano drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Lawson.
