Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Willie McCoy (ranked 1881 p4p, 230 weight class) and Luiz Correia Azevedo (ranked 1669 p4p, 203 weight class). McCoy comes to the cage accompanied by Big Iron. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Luiz Correia Azevedo!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azevedo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McCoy.
McCoy throws a lazy uppercut
and Azevedo counters with a nice double leg into side control. McCoy won't be happy with that.
McCoy manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
McCoy trying to hold on to Azevedo's head to control him but Azevedo postures up.
Azevedo wants to pass the guard but McCoy is defending well.
Azevedo prevents McCoy from improving his position.
McCoy manages to get to full guard.
Azevedo throws an elbow that misses. McCoy uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Azevedo's guard. Nice move by McCoy!

McCoy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Azevedo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

McCoy keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Azevedo's head.

Azevedo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Azevedo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

McCoy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Azevedo manages to get himself to full guard.

Azevedo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McCoy was well out of range. Poor timing from Azevedo.
McCoy shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Azevedo eats them both and turns towards McCoy to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Luiz Correia Azevedo has been cut.
McCoy throws out a powerful jab.
McCoy moves into range and clinches up with Azevedo.
McCoy wants the takedown. Azevedo is fighting it off but McCoy persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Azevedo's guard against the cage.
McCoy is looking to work some ground and pound but Azevedo has wrist control.

McCoy stands up over Azevedo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Azevedo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, McCoy has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Azevedo wants to take his opponent's back but McCoy doesn't allow it.

Azevedo jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… McCoy is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by McCoy and Azevedo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Azevedo wants to finish this one by submission but McCoy is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Azevedo.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Azevedo shoots in looking for a takedown. McCoy tries to sprawl out of it but Azevedo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCoy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McCoy misses with the combination.
Azevedo misses with a takedown attempt - McCoy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
McCoy stuffs the takedown attempt from Azevedo. Azevedo gets slowly back to his feet.
It looked like McCoy was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Willie McCoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luiz Correia Azevedo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Danga de danga de dang - McCoy scores with a four punch combination!
McCoy lunges at Azevedo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Azevedo's hand.

and McCoy counters with a series of strikes that sends Azevedo to the canvas! McCoy follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Azevedo is rocked!
McCoy gets to his feet and stands over Azevedo, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Azevedo felt that one! McCoy unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Azevedo from any more punishment!
