Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sauron Evil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Mant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mant shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Evil as he avoids it easily.

Evil bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mant is looking to regain half guard here but Evil keeps moving and retains side control.

Evil is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mant knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Mant tries to bench press Evil off him but Evil keeps the position.

Evil tries for a kimura but Mant is defending well.
Mant struggling a bit here.

Evil wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mant, who protects the arm well.
Evil tries to advance to mount but Mant denies him.

Evil is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mant has escaped the position, nice work there.

Evil is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mant is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Mant struggling a bit here.
Mant is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Evil off and has taken his back!

Mant is trying to stick to Evil's back but Evil is turning into Mant. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mant's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Evil.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Evil is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Evil wants to pass the guard but Mant is keeping the position.
Evil will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mant shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Evil counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Mant not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Evil stands and throws Mant's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Evil tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Mant is looking to reverse the position.
Mant manages to work his way to half guard, despite Evil's best efforts.

Evil is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mant sees it coming and defends easily.

Evil is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Mant has managed to free his arm - good work.
Evil is breathing heavily.

Evil thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mant controls Evil momentarily but Evil frees himself.
Mant should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Evil drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Evil as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Mant screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Evil! Nice submission victory there!
