Herring is looking to clinch.
Valchenko fails to land the takedown.
Nice takedown defense from Valchenko. No joy for Herring on that attempt.

Herring is fighting off a takedown attempt but Valchenko is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Herring to the mat. Herring regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
