The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petties is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Petties doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.

Petties feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Petties changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jones looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Jones looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Jones trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Petties won't allow Jones to get back to his feet.
Jones is trying to hold Petties in close to prevent damage but Petties has managed to pass into half guard.

Jones is looking for a sweep. Petties is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

and Petties counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Petties was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.

and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones throws a head kick that misses.
Jones misses with a two punch combination.
Petties wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jones shoots for a takedown but Petties saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Petties darts in looking for a takedown but Jones gets double underhooks and turns Petties into the cage.

Jones forces Petties back against the cage and clinches.

Jones jumps guard and drags Petties to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Will Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

A frustrated look appears on Petties's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Petties has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Brandon Petties is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Jones rushes Petties and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jones is trying to break the clinch but Petties is controlling him.
