Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Hellmuth Jr (ranked 695 p4p, 68 weight class) and Remy Valentine (ranked 751 p4p, 73 weight class). Valentine has chosen Man with the Harmonica by Ennio Morricone as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hellmuth Jr throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Valentine sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hellmuth Jr has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Private Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Valentine throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Hellmuth Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hellmuth Jr throws a body shot but no joy.
It seemed like Valentine was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Valentine throws a poor cross that misses
and Hellmuth Jr counters with a nice right hand that sends Valentine toppling to the canvas! Valentine scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Hellmuth Jr finish him?!
Valentine is rocked!
Hellmuth Jr closes the distance and clinches.
Valentine is still on wobbly legs! Can Hellmuth Jr finish him?
Valentine lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hellmuth Jr backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hellmuth Jr working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Hellmuth Jr creates a bit of distance and cracks Valentine with a massive left hook! Valentine crumples out of camera shot, completely unconscious! He's been Nelmarked! Hellmuth Jr stares at him for a moment then struts over to his corner, victorious.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Phil Hellmuth Jr!
Phil Hellmuth Jr decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Remy Valentine was interviewed post fight and said 'I am going to get with my team and rethink a few thinks.'.
